Agent Portal Search
The search functionality on UFG Insurance's agent portal only allows users to search for an account or policy, and will only match searches that are input error-free, precisely matching the result. Agents need an intuitive way to search the site for anything they may be looking for - an account, claim or a certain page.
Policy Change Redesign
UFG Insurance has invested heavily in a new online quoting platform for small business commercial insurance and as our agents continue to quote more business online, they need more options for servicing their policies for a cohesive online experience. Through user research, internal stakeholder workshops and continuous iteration, we hope to create more consistency for agents conducting business online.
Research Dashboard
Our teams at UFG collaborate on much of the research we do, spanning the entire user, and often, customer journey. We connect data points from our Help Desk / Customer Support, Marketing / Customer Representatives, Underwriting staff, Claims staff, agency visits, agent and policyholder interviews and surveys. Our team was in need of a research repository to determine feedback themes and prioritize upcoming development and process enhancements.
Agent Login
Many of the agents who are long-standing partners of UFG Insurance also work with a variety of other commercial insurance carriers. They may be accessing several carrier websites a day or may need to come back to a website they haven’t been on in a month. Many work in a fast-paced environment juggling several incoming quotes or policies in a day, and need to log on quickly, handle an account, and move on to the next task.
